Karo Recon reads every fee payment that reaches your M-Pesa Paybill and your school's bank accounts and matches it to the right student on its own. Siblings, typos and shared phone numbers are handled safely, and anything uncertain waits for a person instead of being guessed.
Safaricom or the bank tells the school's own private address the moment a payment is made. Nobody uploads a statement or types anything in.
The account number, the payer's name and phone are checked against your students. Only a confident match is applied. A payment that could be two children, or none, is held.
The student's term balance drops, the payment appears in their history, and anything held goes to the Review queue for a person to confirm.
When one phone pays for two children, the system asks. It never silently decides which child the money belongs to.
Uncertain and unmatched payments wait in one place with the reason they were held, until a real person decides.
Fee structure per class, terms, optional fees and balances brought forward, so each student's balance is worked out from your own fee set-up.
See what was collected, what is outstanding, and who changed what and when. Every important action is recorded.
Parents sign in with their phone number, see each child's fees, payments and receipts, and can pay by an M-Pesa prompt on their phone or from the M-Pesa menu.
Each school's payment keys are encrypted separately and never shown again after they are saved. Staff have their own sign-ins and roles, and sensitive actions ask for a PIN.
